Cape and mask included

Do you fancy being a superhero in the City of London this June? Why not sign up to ‘Superhero in the City’ - London's iconic 5k superhero run.
Launching for the first time on Thursday 13 June at 6.55pm. This is the only running event where you'll run past some of the most iconic locations in London or the world, dressed as a superhero of your choice!
As part of our Free Spaces offer, Royal Mail will pay the entry fee for you to take part as long as you’re raising money for our charity partner, Action for Children. Sign up here with code: RM-HERO-2019.
The route
Starting at the Millennium Bridge, you will begin by running over the Thames and enjoying the view of Tower Bridge. The route will then take you along the historic South Bank, past Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, before crossing over Southwark Bridge, and on towards the Tower of London. You will then return to the City and back towards St Paul’s Cathedral.
The 5k run is perfect for anyone, whether you’re an experienced runner or putting your trainers on for the first time, all while raising vital funds to support young people across the UK receive the mental health support they need through Action for Children’s Blues Programme, funded by Royal Mail.
Feel free to take part dressed as your favourite superhero. But if your crime-fighting costume has somehow gone amiss, fear not, as all runners will be provided with a superhero cape and mask on the day. How good is that!?
Make it a personal challenge or a team building event and help us raise money for Action for Children at the same time. Are you taking part in this year’s Ops Challenge? If so, remember - this event can count towards your team’s fundraising. As always, every penny raised for Action for Children will be matched by Royal Mail.
