‘Some great positives’
Dr Shaun Davis, director of safety, health, wellbeing & sustainability, hosted a Town Hall session at High Wycombe Delivery Office.
Around 40 colleagues attended the session, which focused on the challenges and opportunities currently facing the business and why our people are our greatest asset.
Nicola McClelland, High Wycombe delivery office manager, said: ‘I thought it was really nice that Shaun took the time to come and speak to the staff and thank them for their great service.
‘We need to always remember that the customer is the most important person and we keep scanning correctly so that we can continue winning new business.’
Postman, Phil Hendyfarfull, said: ‘I thought the session was really positive. The business has obviously got a struggle on its hands with the decline in letters, but our other main challenges are how competitive the market we operate in is and how we need to improve technology to keep up with the competition.’
Shaun highlighted our strong performance on health and safety and thanked the team for their hard work and commitment to maintaining a great service for our customers.
He said: 'It’s really important to recognise the key role that colleagues play in helping us to provide a service to our communities and the great contribution that they make to the brand, to the community, and to the work that we do.’
