‘Constantly brilliant’

It’s been another busy week of customers rushing to get in touch to compliment colleagues on the ‘first-class service’ you so consistently deliver.

Whether it’s the James Milner lookalike in Chester making the extra effort to deliver his parcels, Sally in Devizes for simply being ‘constantly brilliant,’ or Ian in Tyneside ensuring an elderly customer got home safely, you continue to do us proud.

‘Olu is kind, friendly, helpful, thoughtful and just an all-round wonderful postman. He has a lovely manner, waves when you walk/drive past, always greets and waves to my daughter and other children who live on our road. It’s just so refreshing to see his smile every morning. I always notice when he has taken holiday and look forward to his return. It’s not very often people are thanked for their efforts but I really feel he deserves a special mention. ‘I would just like to say this postman makes every effort to deliver our post. My doorbell doesn’t work and he goes to the effort of knocking on the window. Then, when I’m not in, he takes my post away and tries again on the way back. If I am still not in, he leaves with a neighbour for me (I saw this on the cctv). ‘I found a confused, elderly lady walking on Whitley Bay seafront. She did not know her name, where she was or where she lived. Whilst taking her to our house to inform the police, I saw our postman. He was able to identify her and give her address, enabling me to take her home and prevent a lot of work for the police/social services. She was returned to the safety of her husband.
