‘A lovely surprise’

Thank you to everyone who took part in our Easter egg hunt competition

Thank you to everyone who took part in our Courier Easter egg hunt competition.

Special congratulations to engineer, Stephen Bennigsen, from Chelmsford Mail Centre, who was the lucky winner of our grand prize, a £1,500 holiday voucher to a destination of his choosing.

‘I’ve never won anything in my life – thanks,’ said Stephen. 'Winning the competition was a lovely surprise. It took a while to process to be honest! My wife was straight on the internet of course, looking at places we could go.

‘We're thinking of putting the voucher towards something big, something we wouldn't normally do. We’ll likely go later on in the year. When I got the phone call it was completely out of the blue, I was shocked as the most I've ever won is probably £30 on the lottery! So yes, it's very nice!'

Congratulations too to all the winners from days 1-8 of the competition. They include:

  • Kris Rickards - Bury Delivery Office -  A family of four visit to Cadbury World
  • Joanne Leigh - Chester Delivery Office - Fortum & Mason luxury Easter hamper
  • April Hazell - Bexhill-on-Sea Delivery Office - £100 Hotel Chocolat gift card
  • Judith Wappett - Appleby-Westmoreland Delivery Office - Apple Airpods
