Vote 100

Celebrating our amazing Royal Mail women – Jayne Snelham

Her positivity and incredible work ethic are reasons enough why Warrington cover manager, Jayne Snelham has been nominated for our Vote 100 campaign.

Richard Hopwood, senior delivery change lead – Cheshire, Merseyside & North Wales, said: ‘Jayne is currently seconded to me from her position of line manager and is responsible for deploying change across Liverpool in 18 delivery offices.

‘Jayne’s work ethic is outstanding. She often visits three units in a single day, making a fantastic contribution to everyone she meets, including delivery office managers, workplace coaches and indoor colleagues.

‘She works tirelessly to support others, bringing her positive and unwavering attitude to improving a historically difficult area and overcoming obstacles on a daily basis. Jayne is an inspiration and credit to Royal Mail.’

Jayne started at Royal Mail in 2010, beginning in Operations before being headhunted and seconded to the One Plan team.

‘From my time working in the operation, I have had a passion for standards and have always wanted to deliver a great service for our customers,’ said Jayne.

‘When l first went over to One Plan and the Liverpool area, progress was slow. l had to make my mark quickly and hit the ground running.

‘It is challenging on a daily basis, but when I see how each delivery office manager and line manager have grown in their roles and the impact on their scorecard, it makes me feel so proud.

‘I’m so excited for my future with this team, to develop myself while developing others.’
