Special International Women’s Day podcast celebrates our Royal Mail women

To celebrate today’s International Women’s Day, a special episode of The Royal Mail Podcast is now available.

The episode features contributions from a number of female colleagues discussing what it’s like to be a woman at Royal Mail and the best and worst things about working here. Participants also spoke about the areas where they feel Royal Mail can improve.

Project manager, Ashleigh Fisher, was one of the participants in the podcast. She explained: ‘I’ve always felt supported when facing any challenges that might arise and I feel like we have the right support with regards to benefits and progression.’

Beverly Dixon, senior change lead for West of Scotland, added: ‘I can be myself and I’m shown the same dignity and respect as any male colleague and most of all, my opinion is valued.’

Portfolio analyst, Chandan Babra, said: ‘I feel like I’m a valued and respected team member, I have a challenging and rewarding role within the business.’
