‘A very nice fellow’

It’s been yet another week of terrific tributes and assorted accolades from happy customers praising the amazing efforts from all our people across the UK.
Below are a select few of the countless customer compliments we have received over the past week:
Wayne Seale (pictured) - Cardiff North East delivery office
‘We can’t praise Wayne Searle enough. He is always pleasant and courteous and nothing is too much trouble. During our recent building work, which lasted many months, Mr Searle always made sure we received our mail on time, even though access could be difficult at times. He is truly a very nice fellow and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for your exemplary service Mr Searle. You are an asset to Royal Mail’. - Martin and Angela Honey.

‘I don’t know the name of our usual postman for this area, but I would just like to say he is so lovely. Always polite, friendly, always has a smile on his face and waves as you drive by and is an absolute pleasure to have as our postman. I would just like him to have the praise he deserves’. – Anonymous
Dave Cookson - Shirley South delivery office
‘Really impressed with Dave's help today - despite some confusion over a mis-booked redelivery and difficulty locating my parcels as a result, he was fantastic. Really helpful and went the extra mile rather than just leaving it for someone else's problem on the redelivery. A credit to the delivery office, thanks Dave’. – Ben

‘Please pass on my regards and I just wanted to say thank you for a brilliant service from this young man. He is so polite and friendly and I’m so grateful that he stood and engaged in a conversation with me. He even asked if I was ok. It might be nothing to you, but that young man has actually made my day a lot better. I would like him to be acknowledged. I am new to the Widnes area, and to be honest, feeling quite lonely. The world we live in today is always busy and there are not so many people who take the time to think of others. Thank you’. – Patricia Murray
The team - Swindon mail centre
‘I would like to thank the staff at Swindon mail centre who posted back to me my lost wallet, which had obviously been posted into a postbox. I am very happy to have had this wallet returned. Staff went the extra mile to return this to me. Many thanks again’. – John

‘To whoever delivered post yesterday. Thank you so much for returning money my son had lost in the driveway. I’m sure there are plenty of people who wouldn’t have thought to return it. Royal Mail should be very proud of employing such thoughtful and honest staff. Thank you again’. - Sue Smith
