Colleagues who spot and submit new business leads for Royal Mail can earn vouchers to treat themselves on the high street.

The My Watch & Win! rewards scheme allows colleagues to earn points that convert into vouchers for a wide range of shops – from Sainsbury’s and Morrisons to Lakeland, M&S and John Lewis.

Spotters can earn up to £1,000 in reward points for a single successful lead. Our top spotter earned over £10,000 in one year through leads submitted, and we’ve paid out more than £1 million worth of rewards to colleagues to date.

Postman Abdul Achhala (pictured), from Dewsbury delivery office in West Yorkshire, has previously won £1,000 of vouchers from a single lead as well as two leads worth £500 each, amongst many other smaller amounts since the scheme started.

‘When I first got a big lead I had a total of £1,000 to spend and we were about to have our first daughter so we were able to buy a cot and lots of other baby things, it was perfect timing,’ he said.

‘I just always keep an eye out. Whenever I get something delivered and it isn’t Royal Mail I will always pass the name of the company through.

‘You just do it online and it only takes a few minutes. It’s easy money, you can’t go wrong really.’

Sales referrals manager, Dave Parry, said: ‘The best leads tend to be smaller, less well-known retailers who use a competitor. If you receive an item delivered by a competitor, or maybe just see a business using a competitor, that could be a great lead.’

You will earn £10 for your first ever lead regardless of whether it is successful or not. For all leads, if the customer agrees to speak to our sales team you will earn £5.

Then, if your lead is converted into new business we will monitor how much revenue it generates over 12 months.
