Office romance
It’s Valentine’s Day, love is in the air and Royal Mail is no exception! We caught up with couples from across the business who met while working together at Royal Mail.
You can watch the video above, which features eight different couples telling us their stories, giving us an insight into what it’s like to work with your partner and sharing their top relationship tips.
Our couples range from newly-weds and soon-to-be weds all the way through to couples who have been together for decades. They share heart-warming stories of when they first met, how they got together and the pros and cons of sharing a workplace with your significant other.
The couples featured in the video, in order of appearance, are:
- Leon Evans and Daniel Langdon from Plymouth mail centre
- Tina and Andy Gough from Clitheroe delivery office
- Donna Maher and David Harman from Middleton delivery office
- Richard Unwin and Joy Thomas from Manchester North East delivery office
- Nadine Murphy from Plymouth mail centre and Geeta Bargota from Ivybridge delivery office
- Jennie Cornwall from Slough delivery office and Andrew Lewis from Maidenhead delivery office (and baby Austin)
- Craig and Vicky Jiggens from Chelmsford workshop
- Celina Laraya from Princess Royal distribution centre and Keith Moore, retired, formerly of Princess Royal distribution centre
Our eight featured couples are just some of the dozens who contacted us. In the February edition of Courier, you can hear from more couples telling us the stories of their Royal Mail romances.
And there’s even a special edition of the Royal Mail Podcast out today, which also features the couples featured in our video. You can download the podcast from all major podcasting platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Acast.
