Kev’s in command

Tyneside mail centre driver Kev Corner is this week’s host, and he visited Reading East delivery office to find out how the team performed during our peak period.

Last week we issued our trading update, which covered Christmas performance. Colleagues at Reading East told Kev how they managed to achieve some of the best first-time delivery scores at our busiest time of the year.

“The number of parcels have gone up considerably and letters have gone down so we have had to change the dynamics of how we deliver,’ postman Robin Gadd told RMtv.

‘The big packets, the medium packets, that’s what the customers want off the internet. They want them quick, they want them tomorrow, they want them a t the right price and that’s why they’re going on the internet and we’re here to deliver.’
