Doing our part

Our charity partner, Action for Children is here to make sure that any child who needs help gets help – whatever their background and wherever they are in the UK.

Action for Children run over 550 services, from family centres to intensive support services, youth work to residential care homes. Their services make a huge difference to the lives of more than 300,000 children, young people and families every year.

But, they need your help. By volunteering your time, you can support their services to deliver even more for children. There are a range of different team-building and volunteering opportunities, across the UK, to suit you and your team. Activities could include painting the bedrooms at Merryfields - a residential overnight Short Break Service for disabled children in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire - to supporting at events such as the Epsom Book Fair and the London Marathon.

With 80% of the UK within 10 miles of the nearest Action for Children service, there are plenty of opportunities to help young people in your local community
