Pensions letter

From Monday 14 January certain colleagues will be affected by pension automatic enrolment

From today (Monday 14 January) certain colleagues who are not a member of a Royal Mail pension plan will receive a letter about pension automatic enrolment.

We are required by law to automatically enrol certain employees into a workplace pension scheme every three years, if they meet certain criteria. This is even if they have previously opted out of (or are receiving pension benefits from) a Royal Mail pension plan.

From January 2019, we will automatically enrol or re-enrol these employees into the Royal Mail Defined Contribution Plan (RMDCP), if they meet certain criteria.
