Enhancing your potential

Throughout this week we’ll be sharing stories from around the business to highlight our inclusion campaign - Altogether Different.
Today, our Women’s steering group is highlighting the one-year anniversary of the Royal Mail Group membership of the Everywoman platform - an online personal development tool geared towards empowering female employees and helping them take control of their own career development.
Established in 1999, Everywoman advocates the development of female talent at all levels in all sectors, ‘creating strong pipelines and shining the spotlight on female role models to inspire those coming up behind them.’
From recognising the amazing talent, diversity and contribution of women in business, to developing the female talent pipeline and providing future leaders with the tools and techniques, and insight and advice, they need to both celebrate and strengthen gender diversity across all sectors.
With a presence in more than 100 countries and a successful active network of over 20,000 members, Everywoman is recognised globally as the professional organisation driving the development of women at all levels.
Despite the name, the membership is open to ALL colleagues, both male and female, and at all grades. Everywoman.com provides users with access to a wealth of materials, which are aimed at increasing learning and self-development to help inspire success and fulfil potential.
Currently, more than 860 colleagues have signed up. Although this is fantastic, the Women’s steering group would like to see our membership grow and as such, encourage you and your teams to sign up to this external platform.
You will receive weekly newsletters, as well as being able to access the broad range of resources; workbooks, webinars, videos, podcasts, and articles covering everything from how to get the most out of your 1-2-1s and building leadership skills, to guides about promoting yourself and developing your personal brand. These are available 24/7 wherever you are in the world, so that you can navigate to topics that are of most interest to you at a time and place of your choosing.
