We go further

We deliver 40+ million items of mail to 29 million addresses across the 246,500 miles of road in the UK daily.
Watch our video below showing some of the most extreme places we deliver to!
Unst, Shetland Islands
Unst is the northernmost of the inhabited British Isles. In fact, Milan in Italy is closer to London than Unst. After a flight and two ferries, finally postwoman, Michelle McCulloch can begin to deliver, something she has done for 15 years.
Despite tough winters, she knows how much the 400 residents appreciate what she does to help them get mail six days a week.
Ballycastle, Northern Ireland
For 12 years, rural loving postman Matt Woodhouse has travelled 70 miles a day on his delivery round and he wouldn’t change it for anything.
60% of mail delivered to Northern Ireland is to a rural location. From a mountaintop to the beach, it’s challenging, varied, and rewarding. Snow-chains are essential!
Tresco, Isles of Scilly
Daphne Jenkins is the only postwoman on the car-free island of Tresco, part of the Isles of Scilly. For 17 years she has delivered mail for the island by bicycle and is one of the most familiar figures in the small local community of around 150 residents.
