Trustworthy and dedicated

Having started working at Parcelforce as an agency worker, London East LD’s Darren Remy has undoubtedly proven himself to be a vital member of the operation and worthy of a contract. So says Sally Ede (Operations Manager) in her nomination of Darren as employee of the month for September 2018. “He offloads trailers on a nightly basis, which is his preferred position. However, if he is needed elsewhere, I know I can trust his versatility and work ethic to do as a good job,” Sally explains.

She adds that Darren listens extremely well to instructions and without hesitation performs to the best of his ability, which at times is unbelievable. “He has often helped us out of a tight spot when we suffer from network issues, by stepping up to the challenge with the mentality of not failing.”

There have also been a few occasions where Darren has helped supervise the operation at the end of the shift. “He has gained the trust and worthiness of myself and others through his repeatedly hard work and dedication to the business,” Sally says. “Thank you Darren, and keep up the hard work!”
