New Year's Eve prize

Belfast East delivery office ran a charity raffle this Christmas and the prize up for grabs was none other than the manager, David Hutton.
David will complete the New Year’s Eve duty of the person with the winning raffle ticket – or another duty, if the lucky winner is not working that day.
All proceeds from the raffle will go to Waakisa Ministries, a local East Belfast charity which helps young mothers and their babies in Uganda.
Belfast East delivery office has teamed up with Braniel Primary School, which has been supporting this charity for some time, to raise much-needed funds. Waakisa Ministries helps support young mothers who, through no fault of their own, have found themselves pregnant and alone, some as young as 10 or 11 years of age.
‘Some of our colleagues send their children to Braniel Primary School so we’ve seen the great work they’ve been doing to help this charity,’ said David. ‘We wanted to do something to support the school with their fundraising.
‘So far, the team at Belfast East have been really generous and, obviously, they can’t wait to see me complete one of their delivery rounds on New Year’s Eve! It’s a really good cause and I’m delighted to contribute.’
Pupils and teachers from Braniel Primary School visited the delivery office this week and helped put up the Christmas tree. They’re pictured above with David.
