Good as gold

Ringwood delivery office manager, Ann Van Hoof, scooped our top cash prize of £1,000 from our Christmas cracker grand prize draw.

Ann was one of our lucky golden ticket winners after she bought four crackers in aid of our charity partner, Action for Children.

‘The office was keen to receive a box of crackers for Action for Children but we hadn’t realised that the crackers needed to be sold by Friday 7 December!’ said Ann.

‘Therefore, we were busy selling the crackers that week and just before I went home on the Friday evening I brought out the four crackers that I had intended to buy for my family…and there it was – a golden ticket in the third cracker I opened!

‘When the call came through to tell me that I was the main prize winner I was really excited as I don’t normally win anything - I would have been perfectly happy to have won £10!’

Ann said she was still planning to put the Christmas crackers on her Christmas tree so that her family could pull them properly.

‘When one of them discovers the golden ticket again they’ll be very excited with their extra Christmas present!’ said Anne.
