Festive Focus

Colleagues celebrate our most wonderful (and busiest) time of year

Colleagues from across all areas of the business have taken part in a new campaign celebrating the integral role Royal Mail plays in delivering Christmas to millions each and every year.

A handful of colleagues from Delivery, Logistics, Process and Parcelforce all participated in the ‘All Wrapped Up’ campaign, posing for photos that demonstrate the hard work and dedication that go into making the festive period at Royal Mail a success.

Every colleague who participated in the campaign was also asked a series of Christmas-related questions, ranging from their favourite thing about working at Royal Mail at Christmas to what their plans were for Christmas at home.

Dan Parsons, an apprentice at Gillingham vehicle service centre, revealed his top tip for anyone who might be new to the business this Christmas time: ‘Don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions. We’ve got so much experience and there’s always someone who can help you.’

Jeannette MacAndrew, a driver at Heathrow Worldwide distribution centre explained what Christmas at Royal Mail means to her: ‘We give it our all for one last push over Christmas and New Year because it’s special. Everyone in our team feels the same way. I notice that customers are especially grateful for our hard work at this time of year, so that’s a nice feeling.’

You can see more from Dan, Jeanette and other Royal Mail colleagues on our business screens and in the December edition of Courier.
