That festive feeling

Colleagues up and down the country have been sporting their finest festive knitwear

Colleagues at National Distribution Centre have been marvelling at their awe-inspiring display of Christmas dazzle.

At three metres high and nine metres long, the brainchild of postman, Barrie Pickering, contains a staggering 18 sets of lights, 12 Christmas trees to represent the 12 days of Christmas, plus the big man himself alongside his sleigh.

‘This is our fourth year of creating a Christmas display at the NDC,’ said Barrie. ‘This year, we had help from the NDS Communications team in obtaining donations of Christmas trees and lights as well as lasers and snow projectors.

‘It has been really good for team morale, and with Diwali and Christmas both landing in December, it was a great excuse to go all out on decorating the office.

‘This is now an annual tradition at the NDC. It was fully supported by Logistics operations director, Euan McMurdo, with Dimensions providing the mannequins for this year’s display. The reaction has been brilliant.’

Meanwhile, colleagues up and down the country including in Nailsea, High Wycombe South, West Reading, Oakengates (pictured), Newport, and Nottingham North delivery offices, helped deck the halls by sporting their finest festive knitwear on Christmas Jumper Day.
