The Medway team delivered some Christmas cheer to the children at Great Ormond Street

The Medway community team, led by Tim Hyde and The Mail Voice choir, brought some festive cheer to the children at the world-famous Great Ormond Street hospital.

The Medway team donned a variety of outfits, including Lenny the Letter, and toured the hospital giving out 200 presents while the choir kept everyone entertained with Christmas carols.

Our attendance proved so popular that we have already been asked to return next year.

Gary Grange, senior community investment manager, said: ‘Great Ormond Street is an amazing hospital and it was a privilege for us all to be allowed the opportunity to go and brighten the day for so many young children, their families and staff.

‘Once again Royal Mail has shown how much we care about people less fortunate than ourselves and I hope that we can make this an annual event. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Royal Mail and Parcelforce who have supported so many charities and good causes in 2018.

‘Together we have made a huge difference to people and communities all around the UK and beyond.’
