Together for short lives

Children’s Hospice Week, run by UK charity, Together for Short Lives, is the only week in the year dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the lifeline services that support the 49,000 seriously ill children living across the UK with life-limiting conditions.
Together for Short Lives are running a short survey for all families who currently care for children under 16 years of age. The aim of the survey is to understand how families like to spend time together and about the things that can make this quality time difficult.
They are looking for a general impression of family life and have asked that any colleagues who would like to take part in the survey do not think too much about your answers. In their words, if you're not sure just go with your first instinct.
The charity would like as many families as possible to complete the survey, including those who care for seriously ill children, and those whose children are healthy. If any aspect of the survey is upsetting to you they have provided a free helpline on 0808 8088 100.
The survey results will be shared during Children’s Hospice Week 2019, which will take place next June.
The charity also want to survey families who may have no connection to their cause to understand what all families enjoy doing together, regardless of their situation. They will then compare the results for both well and ill children and their families so as to help them deliver an impactful and relatable campaign.
Click here if you would like to take part. The survey will be live until Friday 7 December.
