The gift of giving

For most of us, the festive season is a time of joy. But for some children in the UK, Christmas can be a difficult and stressful time of year without food, warmth or love.
Together with our charity partner, Action for Children, we are working to change this, but we need your help. This is why we’re asking you to be a Secret Santa for a young person this Christmas.
Why should you get involved?
All of the money you raise will be invested into Action for Children’s mental health initiative, the Blues Programme, a successful, evidence-based programme, with the core purpose of tackling depression and mental health symptoms in young people aged 13-19.
Royal Mail will match all donations penny for penny, helping your money go further to support more young people across the UK get the mental health support they need. Together, we can teach them techniques to improve their mental health not only at Christmas, but throughout their adult lives.
Our Santas don’t have reindeers, nor do they wear big red suits. But they’re doing something very special indeed - they’re supporting young people's mental health. In sharing our campaign, you’ll also help us to reach more people and raise more money for young people who desperately need our help. Your support could make a world of difference to UK children who need us this Christmas.
To be a hero and support a young person's mental health this Christmas, all you need to do is donate £10 in one of two ways:
- Text 'CHRISTMAS' to 70175
- Visit www.iamsanta.org.uk/royalmail.
You can also purchase Action for Children Christmas cards from the Royal Mail online store.
