Die-hard devotee

Rochester postwoman, Rachelle Stevens was excited to hear of the recent launch of our 15 Special Stamps celebrating the Harry Potter films.

A longstanding fan of The Boy Wizard, she recently returned from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida, and has visited Watford’s Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour no less than seven times.

Such is her devotion to Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny and Neville, a wall in her bedroom is dedicated to her favourite franchise and features a range of memorabilia including wands, a Sorting Hat and character figurines – she' s even inked with two Potter tattoos.

‘I first saw the new stamps on Facebook but I wasn’t sure if they were real, and then I saw them on RMtv and got very excited,’ she said.

'My cousin messaged me about them as well as we’re both Harry Potter geeks. I saw the films first and loved them but now I’ve got all of the books in hardback as well. A lot of people don’t understand why I love it so much, but I don’t care.’
