Courier is coming

The November issue of Courier will begin landing at homes from tomorrow.
In your latest issue we look at our half year financial results. After a challenging first half to the year, parcels growth has continued - both in the UK and overseas. This has more than offset the decline we’re seeing in letter revenue.
It was very disappointing that we had to communicate, in early October, our revised expectations for UK productivity performance, cost avoidance targets and profit expectations for 2018-19. But, we are confident that working together, we’ll be able to deliver this revised plan for the rest of the financial year.
We will share an update on our strategy and direction for the next five years with colleagues and investors in March 2019.
