Make your Xmas a cracker!
As part of our ongoing charitable partnership with Action for Children, we are offering colleagues the opportunity to raise money for the charity by purchasing Christmas crackers.
A total of 10,000 crackers will be sold over the next two months at £2 per cracker, as we aim to raise £20,000 for the charity, which specialises in supporting young people who have, or who are at risk of developing, mental health problems.
And as well as raising money for a fantastic cause, every cracker purchased puts you in with a chance of winning up to £1,000 in cash. We are placing golden tickets inside 61 of the crackers and anyone who finds a golden ticket inside their cracker will be entered into a prize draw offering prizes of up to £1,000.
How to order your crackers
- To order a box containing 50 crackers for your delivery office, mail centre or team, email royalmail@actionforchildren.org.uk or call 020 3124 0657. Please provide your name, office address and telephone number
- The crackers will be despatched to you within a few days
- Charities Trust will be informed and will send you a paying in slip so that you can bank all funds at your nearest Post Office
- Once the crackers arrive you can sell them for a minimum donation of £2 each
- All of the money raised will automatically be matched. You will not need to complete a matched giving application
- Each box will contain an information sheet explaining what people do if they find a golden ticket.
The grand prize draw will take place on Friday 7December and all winners will be informed by Wednesday 12 December.
