In next week’s programme, we’re at Canterbury mail processing unit, where colleagues are trialling an innovative new car parking solution.

Across our operation, we’re seeking to reduce costs and increase efficiency wherever we can. That’s why we’re trialling the installation of hydraulic parking platforms, which allow vehicles to be stacked one on top of the other.

North London and Southwark delivery offices are trialling the parking platforms, along with Canterbury mail processing unit, where colleagues have welcomed their introduction.

And finally, driving too close to the vehicle in front of you is dangerous. It increases the likelihood of a collision if they brake quickly. Remember to keep your distance and don’t break the two-second rule – always create a space between you and the vehicle in front.
