We aim to be independently rated as one of the most responsible companies in the UK and Europe and we have been named a global leader in the indices every year we have been eligible for inclusion since our flotation.
The assessment benchmarks companies’ sustainability performance against economic, social and environmental criteria compared with peers from around the world.
Royal Mail Group was assessed on its performance in a number of areas such as social reporting, corporate citizenship and philanthropy, environmental reporting and supply chain management.
The review also examined human capital development, labour practice indicators and human rights, risk and crisis management.
