Tasting sweeter every day

They say the first taste is with the eyes, and that’s where Biscuiteers has won a dedicated following with its eye-catching treats – helped by the quality of service we’re providing.
Starting online in 2007, the company now sells biscuits for all occasions made by two London-based kitchens – and even run icing classes and host parties.
Lauren Juster, digital marketing and website merchandiser at Biscuiteers, said, ‘We have two shops in London and make hundreds of items a day. Each one is hand-iced; quality and creativity are the main ingredients of our success.’
Biscuiteers has built up a loyal following all over the world. This is partly due to a strong social media presence, where it has more than 15,000 Facebook likes and almost 90,000 Google+ followers.
‘Social media is a great way to tell people about our creative approach,’ said Lauren. ‘We can reach people all over the world and run campaigns at key times.’
With large seasonal jumps, it’s essential that Biscuiteers has a flexible delivery service with Royal Mail. Turnover can increase up to four times on Valentine’s Day and Christmas. ‘Some other delivery providers are less reliable around Christmas, or require a minimum parcel volume for delivery, but with Royal Mail, we’ve been able to start small and grow,’ said Lauren.
Biscuiteers has worked with Royal Mail to make delivery simple, which gives the company more time to concentrate on growing the business. ‘We have an account manager from Royal Mail and a dedicated sales person,’ said Lauren. ‘We talk a lot about our requirements and challenges. They give us guidance and can also investigate any issues we’re having.’
Sending internationally as reliably as around the UK
The majority of Biscuiteers’ customers are UK based, but the company is increasingly building a large overseas following. Customers have a choice of delivery options, but Royal Mail is by far the most popular option, with our Tracked 48 product favoured for its reliability. Every week around 15 packages go out overseas, and Biscuiteers uses Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed For.
‘Our reputation is very important to us, which is why we’ve recently switched to tracking for our customers,’ said Lauren. ‘It provides a lot of reassurance and makes our lives simpler. We get the same reliability internationally with Tracked & Signed For as we do when sending in the UK.’
