RMtv Specials

In the first of next week’s two special programmes we’re at Heathrow International Logistics Centre where the Duke of Cambridge visited Transport Taskforce members who detect and disrupt the trafficking of wildlife products.
The illegal wildlife trade is one of the world’s most lucrative global crimes. In 2014, United for Wildlife created a Transport Taskforce consisting of leaders from the global transportation industry and the world’s leading wildlife charities. Its purpose is to combat the illegal trade in wildlife.
Royal Mail is a member of this taskforce and works with enforcement agencies – UK Border Force and the Metropolitan Police - to support the actions to prevent wildlife trafficking.
The second special RMtv programme is hosted by TV presenter Nick Hewer and looks at the five year anniversary of the SIP 2013 Free Shares offer which is coming up on 15 October. Nick covers important information for colleagues who hold any Free Shares. Please make sure you watch it.
Also in the programmes:
- CDC pensions update - an important step forward in Royal Mail’s CDC lobbying campaign
- Chairman’s Awards for Excellence – there’s not long left before this year’s finalists are announced.
And finally, it may be early September but it’s never too early for us to start preparing for Christmas, which is why our annual temporary worker recruitment drive is already underway. Don’t forget that friends and family have until Sunday 16 September to apply for the Christmas recruitment scheme.
