Moving from being a postwoman to a senior manager within just four years, senior people business partner, Charlotte Wakeham’s rise within Royal Mail has been a swift one.
Having completed our Springboard development programme for women, Charlotte is an enthusiastic advocate for furthering women’s career options within the business. She is proactive when it comes to encouraging others to apply to Springboard and hands on when it comes to supporting her colleagues who take part.
Her drive, motivation and enthusiasm for her job mean that she’s somebody who gets things done. Dynamic yet personable in her approach, Charlotte is not one to shy away from constructively challenging ways of working to drive improvement.
Her nomination from Chippenham delivery office, states that: ‘It's clear that Charlotte can build fantastic relationships with all of her customers and there was excitement when we knew she would be moving to the Thames Valley team earlier this year.’
