Life of Brian

Colleagues at Northampton delivery office were sorry to hear that postman Brian Heslip passed away after battling illness earlier this year.
Brian, who was 65 and originally from Northern Ireland, was employed by Royal Mail for more than 25 years. His last job for the business involved collections from businesses in the Northampton area.
Brian's cousin, postman John McCready from the Bangor delivery office in Northern Ireland, will miss him dearly.
‘I remember when Brian took me to see our local football team Glentoran FC in 1967,’ said John. ‘I’m still a regular to this day.
‘Brian was really good at keeping in touch with his family and friends back in Northern Ireland. I miss ringing and telling him all the latest news. Even towards the end of Brian’s life he remained positive. He always thought he could beat the cancer.
‘I’d like to thank everyone who turned out in force to Brian’s funeral. I still can't believe he's left this world.’
Brian will be sadly missed by family and friends. He is survived by Ronnie, his two sons Gavin and Ian, and his daughter Julie.
