Here for you

Next week our in-house charity, the Rowland Hill Fund (RHF), is asking for your help to raise money for colleagues in need.
The Fund supports colleagues, past and present, and their dependents. It can provide financial help with rent, mortgage and utility bill areas, home modifications, hospital travelling expenses and much more.
In 2017-2018, the Fund gave £500,000 to our people, helping them with council tax arrears, disability aids, funeral expenses, household items and more - issues that can affect any of us at some point in our lives.
Sue Whalley, CEO, Post & Parcels UK, said: ‘I am delighted to support our in-house charity, the Rowland Hill Fund as they prepare for their fundraising week from 17-22 September. The Fund is ready to help you and your family financially during times of need.
‘Recent support has been given to a family who needed a specialist p-pod chair for a child with severe cerebral palsy; rent arrears for a family struggling with illness; essential household items, including a cooker and fridge for a colleague starting again in a new home after a relationship breakdown, and counselling for a colleague facing stress and depression.
‘The fundraising week is your opportunity to support the Fund by having some fun and raising as much money as you can. They have set themselves a target of £160,000 for 2018/19 and I am sure we can make a significant contribution to this. It will be reinvested directly into helping our colleagues.’
There will also be a dedicated WTLL highlighting the benefits of approaching the Fund for help as well as stories on myroyalmail.com, the intranet and in your local communication channels.
You can request a charity bucket and other materials, such as posters and leaflets, by contacting the Fund directly:
