All the leaves…

This autumn, help us support children and young people across the UK, who are suffering from mental health conditions, by organising some wonderfall fundraising activities.
As we bid farewell to what has been a memorable summer we can’t help but look forward to woolly jumpers, crackling fires and pumpkin soup. Autumn is a great time to harvest some fundraising events in support of our charity partner, Action for Children.
Action for Children has plenty of easy and exciting fundraising ideas for everyone. All the money you raise will go towards the Blues Programme, supporting young people aged 13-19 across the UK, who are at risk of, or suffering from, mental health conditions.
For example, you could organise a sponsored silence as part of World Peace Day on 21 September. It’s easy, all you have to do is keep schtum - it could be for a day, half a day or just an hour - just make sure to pick a day when you have minimal meetings!
Or, get involved with British Food Fortnight 22 September – 7 October. If you can't ever decide between a sandwich or a curry, then simply have it all with an office pot luck lunch! Ask your colleagues to bring in their favourite dish so that everyone can sample everything for a donation!
If you have been inspired to organise your own autumn fundraiser, don’t forget that Royal Mail will match your donation penny for penny, helping your support go even further!
If you would like any more ideas, or you’d like to discuss you own idea, Action for Children would be delighted to hear from you at royalmail@actionforchildren.org.uk or on 020 3124 0657.
