The word is out

The trial of the UK’s first ever parcel postboxes has been covered extensively across the local and national media.
The 30 securely-designed parcel postboxes are being trialled in Leicester and Northampton. They mean small business and marketplace sellers can post pre-paid* parcels, in the same way they currently post a letter.
BBC and ITV regional TV stations and a host of BBC radio stations, as well as LBC News, Talk Radio and Magic London, were among the broadcasters who covered the trial’s launch.
The Sun, Main Online, Mirror, Daily Express and the Daily Telegraph were among the newspapers who picked up on the story.
This innovation forms part of our strategy to grow our parcels business.
Royal Mail head of campaigns Mark Street, said: ‘The trial has been really well received. Not only does it demonstrate how Royal Mail is continuing to innovate, it also shows how we’re implementing change to provide more options to our customers.’
Once the trial concludes in November, customer feedback will be reviewed, with a view to rolling out purpose-built designs across the UK.
