Watch RMtv

Next week’s RMtv is a special programme about how we’re innovating as part of our parcels strategy.
Royal Mail has always been a global leader when it comes to innovation. But if we want this to continue, we need to continue to meet our customers’ expectations.
Innovations
Consumers want to be able to order later into the evening for next-day delivery. And both sending and receiving customers want more information about the journey of their parcel. Our agreement with CWU has provided a platform for us to change. These changes include:
• Significant investments in our PDA technology, including the rollout of PDA Outdoor Actuals data reporting, enabling fair and balanced workload duties in Delivery and Collections
• Being the first to market label-less returns, making the process easier and simpler for customers
• Introducing a four-hour Estimated Delivery Window feature on Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Tracked 48 parcels.
We hear from online flower gifting company, Bloom & Wild, who tell us how they now have an advantage over many of their competitors thanks to Later Acceptance Times.
A trial of the UK’s first ever parcel postboxes is underway. This means small businesses and marketplace sellers can post pre-paid parcels, in the same way they currently post a letter.
We hear from colleagues at Crow Lane delivery office in Northampton, who are among those who will collect from one of the parcel postboxes, about how this will benefit customers and the business.
The next programme will be available to watch from Monday via Content on Demand and the intranet.
