Last year, the Government introduced a new scheme called Tax-Free Childcare (TFC).

The scheme is running in conjunction with the popular childcare vouchers scheme, however this year, there are some changes.

At the moment you can join the childcare vouchers scheme through My Bundle, but as of 1 October 2018, the scheme will be closed to new members. So if you are thinking about joining, you still have time to enrol.

Log into My Bundle to join. If you are monthly paid, you have until 31 August 2018 and weekly paid colleagues have until 16 September 2018 to apply.

More than 1,500 colleagues are already in the Childcare Vouchers scheme. If you want to remain in the scheme after 1 October 2018, you do not need to do anything as the scheme will remain open to you as a current member.

There are winners and losers with both schemes, and the choice of what you do is dependent on a number of factors, including your family's financial circumstances and the age of your children.
