Measuring performance

For the first time, colleagues in Delivery can see how their office is performing against 10 key performance measures.
The information, which is displayed on the business screens located in delivery offices, shows a red/green status against each of the measures so that everyone can quickly and easily see how they’re performing.
Colleagues can then compare their office’s actual performance against its target performance by pressing the ‘+’ key on the keypad, connected to the screen. This supports performance discussion at weekly WTLL sessions by giving managers and teams the information they need to focus on making improvements in the right places.
The information is also supported by ‘top tips’ that give suggestions for actions our frontline people can take to improve results.
The screens display performance information on:
- Complaints
- Special Delivery
- Doorstep scanning
- Final collections
- All accidents
- Road Traffic Collisions
- Productivity
- Unscheduled visits per vehicle
- First time delivery
- Gross hours
This addition represents a real step forward for our operation and supports the business focus on our key operational priorities.
The information is refreshed every Thursday and shows how each office performed the previous week.
