The BAME (black, Asian and minority ethnic) steering group wants to hear from you.

Colleagues are invited to attend a BAME network event on Friday 10 August at Bristol mail centre.

The event will be an opportunity for colleagues to learn more about what the network does, including information on the BAME mentoring scheme, which has just seen its first cohort graduate.

A similar event was held at the Phoenix Centre in London in June and North West Midlands mail centre last month.

Discussions at both sessions focused on career progression opportunities, changing perceptions and where colleagues can get advice and support.

The event on 10 August presents another opportunity for colleagues to have a frank and open discussion around the challenges BAME colleagues face and how the BAME steering group can help find solutions.

The event, which is run in collaboration with CWU, will be held in the TFG room from 11am-2pm. Refreshments will be provided.
