Perfect fit

Women uniform-wearing colleagues can now order male-specific uniforms and vice versa

All uniform-wearing colleagues can now order male or female specific garments as part of their uniform allocation.

This means that if you are a woman but would prefer a male fit you are able to order one, and vice versa.

Colleagues can order trousers, shorts and skirts as well as blouses and sholos when they come on line in September. A sholo is a cross between a blouse and a polo shirt – take a look at July’s Courier for more information.

Sam Dixon, national uniform and print manager, said: ‘I have received a number of requests from frontline colleagues via Courier and town hall events, asking why they can’t order for example, opposite sex trousers and shorts.

‘As a result, we have worked with our uniform provider and their IT team to make a change to the current system.

‘I'm thrilled to now say that from this month all uniform-wearing colleagues can order female or male-specific garments as part of their uniform allocation.’
