People Panel

Taking action on the Employee Survey

Around 50 colleagues from across the business gathered in London earlier this week for our latest People Panel event.

The event focused on this year’s Employee Survey results. Ipsos Mori presented the Group-wide results and colleagues shared their ideas for how we can tackle the key issues highlighted by the survey. These ideas will feed into this year’s Group action plan. Mike Sibley, head of international processing, shared his approach to engaging colleagues at HWDC, which has seen very positive scores this year, and Simon Barker, process operations director, closed the session.

Colleagues also heard about the latest changes to uniform and brainstormed ideas for content they would like to see on a ‘people app’.

Gemma Webb, head of employee engagement, said: ‘We got some fantastic ideas and insights in this week’s event, which will be valuable in formulating our Group action plan. I hope that participating colleagues found the updates useful and will take away the message that sharing, and acting on, your local Employee Survey results is a great tool for helping to improve how we all feel about our working life at Royal Mail.’

The People Panel is held three times a year and is a forum for colleagues to share their feedback and ideas on a wide range of activities. If you’d like to get involved in the People Panel, we’re always looking for colleagues who are keen to join. Contact the team at: culture.engagement.team@royalmail.com.

Have you reviewed your team’s results?

Results for every team across the business are also available via the Archway platform. Teams have been asked to review their results and put together an action plan by the end of July.
