Pride Scotia
Join the fun this Saturday 16 June in Scotland where Royal Mail is once again showing its support for the LGBT+ community by taking part in the annual Edinburgh Pride parade - the Pride Scotia.
With our brand new sound system and our Royal Mail Pride float we will be marching through the centre of Edinburgh. Starting outside the Scottish Parliament we will make our way up the Royal Mile to the City Chambers and beyond finishing at the Edinburgh University student union.
Pilot manager Ankush Sharma, said: ‘It would be great to see as many colleagues as possible marching with our Delivering with Pride t-shirts and contributing to what will be one of Edinburgh’s biggest celebrations.
‘The Pride Scotia march arrives at the Edinburgh University student association campus - the site of the Pride Edinburgh 2018: True Colours Festival. The parade takes place in support of our LGBT+ colleagues, but is open to everyone and their friends, family and supporters.
‘Pride is an internationally renowned event and the spectacular parades take place across the world throughout the year. We are delighted once again to be marching through the heart of Edinburgh.’
Supporting Pride is another way we can celebrate our differences, reflect the communities we serve and promote Royal Mail as an equal opportunities employer and a true champion of LGBT+ colleagues and the wider LGBT+ community.

We want people to sign-up to attend the Pride of your choice as early as possible as places are capped. To secure your places, please email pride@royalmail.com with your name, the number of people attending with you, which Pride you would like to attend and whether you would like to be on our float.
