Springing into summer
The warm weather we have all been waiting for has finally arrived. Summer means holidays, endless fun in the sun, and a brilliant time to plan a fundraising event in support of our charity partner, Action for Children.
Not only does Action for Children have lots of exciting and easy fundraising ideas for everyone, but all the money you raise on their behalf will go directly towards funding the Blues Programme, supporting young people aged 15-18 across the UK, who are at risk of, or suffering from, mental health issues.
Why not make the most of the longest day of the year on 21 June and put on a Social Summer Solstice event for all to enjoy. Whether it’s a family treasure hunt, outdoor cinema evening or a sports day event, get outdoors and enjoy the summer sun.
Or what about a car spa? Gather your colleagues (plus some buckets, soap and sponges) and get busy washing cars. You can request different donations based on the level of service, from wash and dry to a full valet.
