Graduate and Apprenticeship Programmes
Graduate and Apprenticeship Programmes
Our graduate and apprenticeship programmes aim to give you a great stepping stone into our business through a range of different development routes. From professional functions to operational streams, there are a range of experiences and technical skills on offer.
Graduate programmes
Professional functions
Our corporate centre is home to our Human Resources, Finance, Technology, International and Parcelforce programmes. In the corporate centre, you will get to experience how your function supports the wider operation and how you can individually contribute. You’ll also get the chance to study towards a professional qualification relevant to your business area. To apply for one of these programmes, you’ll need a 2:1 (or predicted) degree in a relevant subject area.
Operations management
Our operations-focused programmes are at the core of how Royal Mail Group runs. You can apply for a place in Operations, National Operations or International Operations; and they all have managing people and teams at the heart of their programmes. You’ll get to experience how our network operates delivering to over 26 million addresses across the UK and beyond. You’ll also get the chance to be involved in a mixture of being a leader, and project work that will drive business performance. You will get the chance to study towards a qualification funded through our apprenticeship levy. To apply for one of these programmes, you’ll need a 2:2 (or predicted) in any degree subject.

Apprenticeship programmes
Project management
Our Project management apprentices get a fascinating insight into how different parts of the business operate, the relationship between them, what we do well and where improvements could be made. On every project, they’re the people helping us push for progress.
Finance AAT
As a Finance apprentice, you could work with the award-winning Accounts Receivable team, working on a range of activities with customers. You could also work in the Accounts Payable team, dealing with vendors and a variety of payment processes.
Vehicle maintenance
Some 49,000 vehicles make our fleet one of the largest in the UK. To keep it running efficiently and effectively, we rely on our talented crew of vehicle technicians.
Advanced engineering
Our engineering apprenticeship covers everything from high-tech robotics to intelligent sorting machines. Our engineering apprentices will get to grips with the cutting-edge technology we use to deliver a first-class service.
