We Are Christmas 2024
We Are Christmas
What we do at this time of year is about more than delivering letters and parcels. From connecting faraway friends with Christmas cards, to making sure those all-important presents arrive on time for the big day.
This is the time of year when our customers rely on us most – after all it wouldn’t be Christmas without Royal Mail.
It’s our snow-covered postboxes that are sparkling from mantlepieces on the front of greetings cards. It’s our red vans on every street in the UK and our posties delivering Christmas in all shapes and sizes with every step - from John O’Groats to Land’s End.
So after the best Peak in four years last year, we’re asking you to join us and confirm to the nation that once again, we are their preferred choice this Christmas. Let’s make this the best one yet!
At Royal Mail, we don't just deliver Christmas, We Are Christmas.
This is your one-stop shop for the We Are Christmas campaign. Here you can find:

Our overall ambition is to deliver Christmas, focusing on quality of service by achieving an overall 95% Tracked 24 target. Your role as a manager, is to help your teams understand how their individual performance contributes to the performance of your team, your office, and ultimately the business.
Each Operational function has worked with us to develop a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which are relevant and achievable but ensure we meet our overall objectives. The KPIs for each function are detailed in the respective, see manager toolkit section above.
Managers will be able to see how you are performing at unit level against these targets via the Christmas KPI Qlik App. This link will only work for those managers who have the required access. (Parcelforce Worldwide, International and National Distribution teams won't be using Qlik as they have their own existing platforms).
Let’s make it a Christmas make-over and bring a bit of festive spirit to everything we are working on this Peak. You can find PowerPoint templates, Teams backgrounds, the We Are Christmas logo and other artwork here:

Your wellbeing this Christmas
The winter months can be great! Snow, crisp mornings, cozy fires, and festive treats. For others, it can be a challenging time for our mental health and wellbeing, especially as the days get shorter and colder. And of course, it’s our busiest time at work.

We all know the importance of sleep but how many of us actually prioritise it? We spend a third of our lives asleep and poor sleep can lead to poor concentration, low energy levels and can also affect mood, our relationships, and our ability to function properly throughout the day.

Know…
We’re all feeling the impact and spotlight on household finances, yet talking about money is often difficult to do. It can be difficult to open up about money and pension worries, and not reach out for expert support to help find a way forward. And it can be especially challenging around Christmas.

Look out for each other
It’s especially important to look out for each other over the winter months. If you’re worried about someone, remember you’re not a doctor or expected to ‘fix’ everything but having an awareness of the common signs of stress will enable you to support others early before things snowball.
Check out the Moments that matter – supporting a colleague you’re worried about for step-by-step guidance on how to check in with someone, and signpost to the right support.
Remember, you matter!
Take time out every day to focus on yourself. No matter how many self-care tips you read or take note of, it’s important we all spend some time each day focusing on what self-care means to us. For further support, go to the Wellbeing Hub and check out our fab new Winter Wellbeing leaflet.
