Cyber Awareness Month - win £200 by developing a creative social media idea

Cyber Awareness Month competition

Want to help our customers and the most vulnerable in our society stay safe from online delivery scams?

Create a Stamp out Scams social media video idea for our customers and win an amazing £200 worth of vouchers via our Shine platform.

Get creative and take part in our Cyber Awareness Month competition by coming up with a social media video idea offering online scam guidance for our customers.

The details

We want you go come up with an engaging, informative idea that anyone could show someone in their family or friends – no matter what age, no matter how tech-savvy.

  • Use accurate advice and guidance - you will need to demonstrate that you understand the key guidance we offer out to customers. A good place to start might be the guidance on our website here
  • Relevance – we’re not expecting you to be a scam expert but do want to see some awareness of the current tactics being used by attackers to target our customers. Some known examples can be found here
  • Creativity - visual images or 'mock ups' of your proposed concepts will most help us visualise your submission but are not essential. Remember – this is for social media, try and create something that is going to capture people's attention.
  • An idea / concept – we AREN’T looking for your submission to be an artistic Hollywood masterpiece. What we really want to see is a great idea (this could even be articulated in a word doc) - we can help with the creatives and design once the winner has been selected!
  • Keep it simple, concise (less than 1 minute) and think about 'shareability'.

We recommend submitting your example in a Word or PowerPoint document and include any reference to links, images and an explanation of guidance you've used and how the content will help keep people safe online.
