- Report all hazards, accidents, collisions and near-miss incidents to your manager.
- Adhere to the site rules/yard rules; signage; road markings and speed limits at all times both at Royal Mail Group sites and customer sites.
- Comply with the Highway Code at all times and treat all road users with consideration.
- Only drive a vehicle that you are trained and authorised to use.
- Complete a daily vehicle check and log book entry. Use the PMT1 process to report defects.
- Wear a seatbelt at all times when driving.
- Comply with the road speed limit relevant to the class of vehicle being driven.
