Supporting your local grassroots youth sports team

Nominate a youth sports team

*Nominations have now closed*

What happens next?

  • Successful teams will be randomly chosen throughout July. Please note, we have a limited pot of funding, so only a select number of teams will be successful.
  • Charities Trust, an independent external partner, will check that successful teams meet the eligibility criteria and complete vetting before providing funding.
  • Nominees will then be contacted with the outcome of their nomination, and we will share who all the successful teams are on Workplace.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to nominate.

Important points to note before nominating:

  • We’re looking for nominations for a wide range of youth team sports, from basketball to cricket, netball to football, across the whole of the UK.
  • To nominate you must be a current employee who can demonstrate a personal connection to the youth sports team you’re nominating.
  • You can only nominate a registered charity, not-for-profit organisation or community amateur sports club in the UK. They must have a registered UK bank account and be able to prove their legal status and affiliation with the relevant governing body.
  • Grants of up to £3,000 are available to fund new kit for young people.
  • We’re working with our national charity partner British Heart Foundation and are asking all successful organisations to complete CPR training using BHF’s RevivR tool. We’re also asking you to tell us if you’re nominated organisation would be interested in being supplied with a defibrillator for their sports team and the wider community.
