Panel Discussion:

As a way to celebrate Black History Month 2023 we are really excited to be hosting a Youth Panel in October to spotlight and celebrate the achievements of young people from ethnic minorities as well as discuss some important issues that may be holding them back from fulfilling theirfull potential.

Discussion points:

  • Explore what success looks like for the young people on the panel.
  • Do they see any barriers to that success and why?
  • Who are their role models and why?
  • Exploring different ways to nurture our youth e.g. education focused on belonging, self-love, emotional intelligence and soft skills (why they are so important); financial literacy; health and wellbeing.
  • What inspiration can you give to a large corporate like Royal Mail to raise your aspirations and prepare you for a thriving present and future?
