Extending the Network Window
Extending the Network Window - what is it?
Extending the Network Window is about creating a network capacity for future parcel growth, reducing our carbon footprint and at a cost that is sustainable for Royal Mail going forward. This means using our road network.
Moving to road transportation is slower and it takes longer to move our products from some parts of the country to another. Therefore, mail centres, parcel hubs and delivery offices need to change start and finish times to take account of the longer travel time.
To understand more about what the Network Window is, and why we need to change it, watch the following videos. If you need further assistance, please ask your line manager or drop the team a question at questions@royalmail.com
