From Wednesday, 17 July 2024 colleagues will be able to share further detail about their identity in the new This Is Me section in the Personal Details tile on People App and PSP.

Royal Mail is made up of thousands of fabulous individuals – our diverse workforce helps us deliver more for our customers. As Royal Mail continues its journey to Change for Good, we are determined to create a welcoming and safe working environment for all. This means we must encourage openness and transparency to ensure everyone feels comfortable and able to bring the best version of themselves to work.

This Is Me enables colleagues to safely and securely share their identity, enabling us to provide the right support and adjustments as appropriate and to monitor equal opportunities.

Managers will receive a notification if a colleague identifies as a parent or carer, a reservist or part of the army cadets or having a disability or is neurodivergent. This notification will include further detail on how to support that colleague. Managers will not be able to see or manage any other colleague information in this section. Colleagues will be notified as part of our This Is Me campaign in September 2024.
